Am new to the area, looks like Fast Auto has earned my business. Aside from reasonable charges, they also did extra free service checking my brakes. Other shops charged me for that.

Im not an easy customer, I had a 86’ Bronco II that desperately needed a new transmission. No shop in North County would take it in due to its age but Fast Automotive didn’t hesitate. Parts are scarce and hard to find but they didn’t let that stop them. They even put my new transmission in, did a quality check and decided they felt it wasn’t up to THEIR standard so they sent it back and gave me the choice of a rebuild. We had all of this completed for a ridiculously honest and low price.

Stop taking your car anywhere else. Fast Automotive is the only mechanic you should trust to get the job done!

I started going to Fast Automotive when the place I had been using wouldn’t do a last minute oil change on my daughter’s car. I brought her car into Fast Automotive (without an appointment) and within minutes they had her car up on the lift. The price of the oil change was competitive-no hassles and no padding of the bill.

It was such a great experience I decided I would bring my car for service here. The guy behind the counter is friendly and honest. I feel comfortable taking my car here; that I won’t be taken advantage of just because I’m a woman. So far I am very pleased with this business and I will continue to service my car here.

Quick and efficient service!

They diagnosed my problem for free. They ordered the part for quick repair and checked it a few days later to make sure it was okay. I traveled 700 miles the following weekend and only checked it once. It was fine. So a recap professional repair at a reasonable price in order to help me. If you want a recommendation I would tell you go there and see for yourself, you’ll drive away happy or they’ll fix it so you do.

I called to get an estimate for my car. They were able to get me right in that day. I was able to save so much money by bringing my car to Fast Automotive Center. They were honest FAST and reliable. I have been bringing my car here for years and to be honest I wouldn't trust anyone else with my car. The professionalism that they give is unmatched.

Seriously great service. They saw me immediately, and did good work for much less than I was being quoted at other local places. They seemed VERY honest and didn't try to upcharge me. In fact they checked extra things I requested and included it in the regular diagnositic price. I would definitely go again and recommend to anyone else. Glad I found them :)

Excellent - friendly and trustworthy service. I had them work on a 1986 import to get it ready for smog. They did what was needed to get it prepped, they did not oversell me on unnecessary things - there were additional items that they called out but I chose not to do. Ended up spending less than they had estimated. When it failed to pass smog due to timing I brought it back in and they reviewed and adjusted. It ended up being an issue with the smog location - and Fast automotive took the time to explain what they did and the mechanic even showed me exactly what they’d done to get it prepared. It ended up passing smog without having to do any additional work. It can be hard to find somewhere trustworthy and feel like they have the customers best interests in mind - but this place really does.

Fast Automotive is the best!! Honest, thorough, knowledgeable. I just had my car in for a routine service &, a few days later, noticed my left turn signal was rapid. Danny did a bulb change & charged me nothing.

I ended up at Fast Automotive Center as my engine light came on Friday and my normal go to guy's shop is closed on weekends. Driving with the engine light flashing nonstop indicating "to turn off engine" gave me enough anxiety..I could not wait until Monday. I showed up Saturday and the team kept my car a few days to repair. Daniel and team did a great job and for what I felt a very reasonable price! Highly recommend!

I called this morning to see if they had time to diagnosis an issue I have been experiencing with my car for some time, even after taking it to two other shops that told me they had resolved it. We took a road trip from Utah down to San Diego and upon arrival to San Diego our check engine light came on. This was obviously pretty concerning to us as we had to drive back to Utah the next day. We called around different mechanics in the San Marcos area and most of the ones we got a hold of felt sketchy and not very reliable. Thankfully we found Fast Automotive. We took our car in on short notice on a Saturday morning and they were able to fix it up in a timely manner for a fair price. These guys are honest and straight to the point. We had no worries on our drive back to Utah and car runs noticably smoother than it did before. We are so glad we found Fast Automotive Thank you so much!!

stopped by because I needed air in my tires and with a back issue bending is hard for me. The young man was eating his lunch but put his sandwich down to take care of me. I told him about my tire being low and he checked all of them. I appreciate the speedy work. They were nice too which is always a plus. I will be back for an oil change.

I needed a transmission fluid change because I was at 60k miles. I looked on YELP for a place with great reviews and this was the spot. I called to make an appointment and they were available the very next day. Unfortunately my car has some crazy specific type of TF that they didn't have. This meant that I had to wait longer than I would have loved. However, I brought a book to read and the staff was really nice.

I am totally satisfied Thank you so much for your service and also I will bring one of my friends soon. He need a new alternator.

The staff here is very professional, knowledgeable and quick. Scotty and Noe in the office are very polite and friendly and you will feel home while you wait for your vehicle to be repaired.

I was on the return leg of a road trip to San Diego from the Bay Area when the dashboard lights went out. I happened upon FAST automotive by lucky chance. The crew went to work with out delay and diagnosed the issue. It was determined that I didn't need to fix it right away but before I left they checked all my fluids and topped them up where needed. FAST is a great group of folks that I was fortunate to stumble upon in a bad spot far from home.My only wish is that the shop was 500 miles closer to where I live. They would be my go to shop for anything my cars need.

I've been coming to this shop for 3 months now and what can I say? They've been the most professional people that I've dealt with when it comes to car services. I've had negative experiences with dealerships and chain shops, but fast automotive proved me wrong. I've gotten my car checked when I thought there were issues but got sent back because there was nothing wrong at the time. After that anytime I've needed work done on my car they checked the box when it comes to communication, timeliness and above all getting the issue resolved. This family operated business restored my trust in car shops because of their transparency. Car trouble? Gary will help you like he did to me and I will continue my business for any future car related issues. Only regret that I have is not writing a review sooner. This place was great! My car needed a full inspection and the guys here were able to zero in on the issues right away. They took care of everything the same day! Not sure if everyone will have the same speedy service but I guess it depends on the scope of the work involved. Pricing was the best compared to other mechanics in the area. I can't say enough good things about Ralph, Zach, Danny and the rest of the Fast Auto team. I've brought my car here before & even turned my boyfriend onto this shop. My mom has been going here for YEARS! I took my car in to get serviced as I'm driving across country to Tennessee. They went over my car bumper to bumper, fixed what needed to be fixed and told me to bring it back a few days before I left just to make sure everything is good, at no charge. I had just recently had all 4 tires replaced on my Mazda and was told that my suspension was leaking and the struts needed replacing. Not only are they fast, their work is high quality and customer service is excellent. I was told by the Subaru dealer that my brakes were problematic; I needed a 2nd opinion and a fair price. Ralph, Zach and Carl all stepped up. If it's possible to thoroughly enjoy a brake job experience, I certainly did. They explained all the nuances and adjusted the price down from the estimate. Everyone at Fast Automotive is fantastic! They're all super friendly and helpful, and I trust them to do what's needed to keep my car in good repair, and to do it at a reasonable price. When Gary was unable to reach me recently before they did a couple of jobs on my car, he took the time when I came to pick it up to explain exactly what they had done and all the charges. We were out of town and needed a new radiator to continue our road trip. Being out of town, we didn't know where to look for a mechanic, but picked this place due to the good reviews. We are so glad we did, the people were very nice, very knowledgeable, very honest, and very honorable, especially Zach the shop manager(?). We are very happy with the work done and would certainly recommend this place for any mechanic needs.

Brought my car on Wednesday morning got it back Thursday afternoon. Water pump broke and needed to go on a trip. They were fast and reliable.

Honestly, it's hard to find an honest mechanic. I'm always scared when going to a mechanic. These guys are an absolute godsend. Charged me $75 when he could of stuck me with a 1k bill. I now have a new mechanic forever. Go see for yourself guys, they are modern day automotive superheroes. I had went to another shop and they wanted $300 just to do "additional diagnostic." We've been bringing our cars to Fast for over a decade and they are always great. They go above and beyond with even the most mundane service - they provide extra touches that make the service even better and they look out for potential problems we should be alerted to. Their fees are reasonable and they have excellent turn around times.

A pretty solid place. I was given a quote and the actual work ended up costing exactly what I was quoted. No surprises here! I can appreciate the hard work the guys put in as well. My situation was pretty complex but they handled it. Plus they had the best pricing out of the all the places I got quotes from. Overall a great auto shop.

Our 1965 Shelby Cobra (kit car) was badly leaking transmission fluid and I feared that a costly repair might be headed my way. I called up Fast Automotive Center after reading (literally) all of their wonderful Yelp 5 Star reviews. I spoke with Danny who was wonderful, reassuring and caring. He said that he could get me into the shop as soon as the very next morning. I was extremely wowed by the excellent customer service, technician talent, quality of service, workmanship and great value. They showed me that I had horrible (cheap) rubber hoses and thankfully suggested replacing all of them with custom braided stainless steel ones. They did all the work great (beautiful) work in a very few short hours. Wow! Was I ever blown away by how many cables they had to replace and how well they looked professionally installed. I am not at home to take some pictures, but will try to add a couple later this evening. I was very impressed by Danny and all the technicians who I met and worked on my car. They are ALL very nice, professional and talented mechanics, who have a passion and enthusiasm for working on cars. I highly recommend recommend this excellent repair/service shop (Fast Automotive Center) for servicing and taking care of your vehicle. Having 45 (5 Star) Yelp reviews speaks for itself.
